Description
A fisheye view of the tree in my front yard with the sun behind it.
I tried so many things with this photo, but in the end just went with a minimal amount of brightening. I tried un-warping it with Panotools into a rectilinear projection (i.e like a normal lens) but couldn't decide on how wide to make the virtual lens, or how to tweak the orientation. I also tried brighting the image significantly and then restoring the deep blue of the sky with the "virtual polariser" effect I've used on a number of recent photos. But I wasn't really happy with anything I tried, so this almost the original.
